What do you do during those moments when your spirit becomes weary, your heart goes astray, and your steps falter? Spiritual fatigue is a common experience, especially during challenging times.

Spiritual fatigue can cause feelings of hopelessness, doubt, and a disconnection from your faith. Besides, it can cause you to lose sight of your purpose and feel disconnected from your faith.

Psalm 73:26 offers us the secret of finding enduring strength. It reminds us of God’s unfailing love and that we can find our strength in him when we turn back to God with a penitent heart.

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:26

We face challenges, disappointments, and hardships that can shake our faith and drain our strength. Despite our best efforts, our flesh and our hearts may fail. The psalmist humbly acknowledges that we are prone to weakness, both physically and spiritually.

However, the psalmist also proclaims that God is not just a temporary source of strength, but our portion forever. God stands as the unshakable pillar of support. God offers His divine strength to uplift and sustain us.

When our resources are depleted, we can turn to Him, finding solace and strength. Returning to God is a journey of surrender, acknowledging our need for His strength and completely trusting in God.

Herein lies the secret of finding enduring strength amidst our moments of weakness.

How do you return to God?

Returning to God begins with nurturing a personal relationship with Him. Through prayer, meditation, and studying His Word, you can deepen your understanding of His character and discover His unwavering faithfulness.

To return to God means letting go of our self-reliance and surrendering our burdens into His capable hands. As you release the weight of your struggles to Him, you will experience the transformative power of His grace and mercy.

Returning to God involves aligning our desires and aspirations with His will. You open yourself to divine guidance and direction when you surrender your plans and aspirations to Him.

As we grow closer to God, we learn to rely on His strength, finding comfort in His promises and guidance in His wisdom.

Psalm 73:26 serves as a powerful reminder that despite our human limitations, we can find strength and comfort in God. In doing so, we find that His strength empowers us to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
