Rivers of tears run from my eyes
Flowing endlessly
Like a never-ceasing stream
Eyes filled with grief
Overwhelmed by the suffering of my people
Knowing no respite
Until the God of heaven looks down and sees
Until Thou seest
O Lord of heaven, look down and see.

See, my eyes run rivers of tears
Flowing unceasingly
See, my eyes are like a never-ending stream
With rivers of tears my eyes do run
Flowing incessantly
Weeping for the sufferings of my people
For the oppression of the vulnerable
Eyes filled with grief
O Lord, see, hear and rescue

Rivers of tears pour from my eyes
See, my eyes are like an ever-flowing stream
See, my eyes are filled with grief
At the destruction of my people
At the oppression of the powerless
At the defeat of the weak
They know no respite
Until Thou seest.
O Lord of heaven, look down and see.
