Come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

We live in a fast-paced and demanding world. There are so many factors that wear us down: our work; family responsibilities; relationship needs.

Here’s how you and I can find blissful rest.

“all who are weary and heavy-burdened”

We all grow weary, not just spiritually but also physically. Are you feeling tired or torn? Does your daily routine provide no peace?

Jesus’s invitation is for all of us who are drained out – you included. He invites YOU to experience rest and restoration.

Responding to His Call

“Come unto Me!”

Here’s one of the most beautiful invitations from God. “Come to me” is Jesus’ call to all those who are in distress. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have been through.

Jesus knows us and the challenges we face every day. And so, He graciously offers Himself as the remedy. A response to his loving call can make a big difference to your life.

Heavenly Rest

“I will give you rest”

Jesus wants to give us real rest. He promises to walk with us. As we walk with Jesus, we will experience rest in the measure of his grace.

We can rest assured that the rhythms of His grace will guide us through the twists and turns of life. Heavenly rest will be our inheritance.

What a privilege we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear.

Lord Jesus, I am weak and weary, distressed with the burdens of the world. You are the God of Rest. I pray that you would grant me your heavenly peace, hope and rest. I put my trust in You alone. O Giver of all rest, fill my body and soul with your rest. Lord, prepare us for that Enduring Rest that you promised forever. Amen.
